Dr. Paris Gandy-Walker is a clinical psychologist licensed and practicing in the states of Georgia, Florida, and New York. She received her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) and Psychopharmacology Master’s of Science (MS) degree from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Paris also holds additional training as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) through her Master’s degree from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida. She is originally from Oakland, California and through her professional experiences in California, Florida, New York, and Georgia she has worked with a diverse and wide range of populations, including but not limited to children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups.

Dr. Paris also has experience working in addictions, as a counselor at Flushing Hospital and later as the Director of Bleuler Chemical Dependency Recovery Services Programs in Queens, New York. Dr. Paris also served as Clinical Director for 2 years of a CORE agency, Eastchester Family Services, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Paris worked at Mental Health Center of Florida as Testing Director from 2017-2019. She returned to MHC from 2022-2024 as the Associate Clinical Director, Regional Chief Psychologist: South Florida/Orange City, & Training Director of MHC’s APPIC internship program.
Dr. Paris began her private practice several years ago in Brooklyn, NY and has expanded her practice to Atlanta, GA and most recently Hollywood, FL when relocating. Her practice was renamed New Day Psychological Services (NDPS), LLC in 2012 in accordance with her belief that there is always a new and better day ahead.
Dr. Paris specializes in working with children and adolescents with behavior problems, with extensive experience with troubled adolescents. Dr. Paris currently treats individuals, children, adolescents, and families in psychotherapy in private practice in Hollywood, Florida and is also servicing Georgia and New York online. Dr. Paris is also a Florida State Qualified Supervisor and supervises psychologist and mental health counselor interns.
